| About ISO / IEC 27001:2005 |
An internationally recognized standard for Information Security Management System, that was published on the 15th October 2005 and replaces BS 7799 Part 2:2002 This standard is intended to serve as a single reference point for identifying a range of controls needed for most situations where information systems are used in industry and commerce.
UKAS is the accreditation body for ISO / IEC 27001:2005. The certification covers various information security domains like Asset Classification and Control, Maintenance and Implementation of Security Policy, System Development and Maintenance, Secured Computer, Incident Management and Network Management etc. |
