Satish
Ambe, heads Kale’s Business process outsourcing
operations (Kale MPSTM). His responsibilities include managing
customer expectations and managing the BPO delivery teams.
In a long and rewarding career with Kale,
which spans over 20 years, Satish successfully executed bespoke
system development and conversion projects for various multinational
companies. In 1987, he was selected as the member of a study
team constituted by Indian Banks' Association (IBA) under
the aegis of Ratnakar Committee, to recommend the future path
for computerization in Indian Banks and develop standardized
specifications for various applications in Banking.
In 1990, he was identified to design, develop
and implement one of the first Total Branch Automation software
for Banks in India, as a part of IBA's initiative. Satish
was also entrusted with the responsibility of setting up a
model offshore development and support unit at Kale for a
large multinational bank.
Since 1999, he was entrusted with a responsibility
of managing Kale's Airlines PRA Solutions area. During his
tenure with this division, he was responsible for development
and maintenance of the products in the areas of Revenue Accounting,
Sales Audit and Proration as well as Customer Support.
In February 2002, REVERATM - the
new generation Revenue Accounting Product-developed by Satish
& his team, won the 'World's Best Revenue Accounting Solution'
award at ATTIS, Amsterdam.
Further in 2002, he was assigned a project
of conceptualizing, incubating and commercializing Kale's
BPO initiative in the area of Airline Sales Audit. He shifted
to head Kale MPSTM in 2003.
Satish holds a Bachelor's degree in Statistics
and a post graduate degree in Computer Science from University
of Pune , a premier university in India. |
