Integrated Enterprise-Wide Cargo Solution

CSP® is an enterprise-wide, modular air cargo management system designed to meet the end-to-end needs of cargo carriers of all sizes.

CSP® is designed by industry and technology experts in partnership with some of the world's leading cargo airlines. It offers decreased time to competency by providing the airlines the flexibility to address market changes, adopt new business practices. CSP® offers greater economic value by achieving business results faster, better and quicker than the competition.

Using a component-based design, CSP® provides a comprehensive set of facilities for the airline cargo business, extending from Schedule Management to Revenue Accounting encompassing all the functionality related to Allotment Management, Reservations, Space Control, Operations, and many other areas. CSP® also provides support for multiple types of cargo, including airmail, and multiple forms of transport, including air and truck.

It is a highly flexible system built on Open J2EE architecture. It opens up new ways of doing business in a cost effective manner, and provides tools for cargo managers to make effective yield conscious decisions.

CSP® Suite: Truly Integrated Modular Solution
CSP® is a modular solution that provides seamless integration of data and processes across platforms. It can be delivered either as a complete suite or in modules that provide solutions to specific areas of the airline cargo business.

 

The CSP® suite includes:

Reservation and Space Control Management
CSP-RES® provides an airline with full reservation management capability on line and provides real-time rating, proration and revenue forecast. It provides space control with the tools to have complete management over bookings allowing them to monitor bookings against allotments. In addition, it supports decision-making and helps airline’s to decide whether or not to confirm a booking based on expected revenue. It also performs prioritisation of shipments and re-assignment of bookings for yield or operational reasons. In short, it enables an airline to fully maximize its revenue for flights through sophisticated control and management of information.

Operation and Load Management
CSP-OPS® provides full control to the airline for its operation, from the point where the booking list is released through to the delivery of the shipment to the consignee. The module extends from operational planning and export receipt, to build up, manifest preparation, ULD prioritisation, dispatch, arrival, transit handling and delivery. It also includes tools for irregularity and claims management and complete shipment tracking. The system supports both waybill-based cargo and airmail and has a fully compliant US Customs (AMS) interface.

Comprehensive ULD Management
CSP-ULD® helps the airline manage its ULD stock by enabling planning, movement tracking and full stock control. It provides support for both station management as well as ULD control centre management.

Comprehensive Cargo Ground Handling Solution
CSP-MERCURY provides a solution for those airlines that carry out cargo ground handling activities. It provides full exports, imports, and transit management of cargo for the host airline as well as other airlines, and has full EDI capability to allow effective communication to third party airlines and other agents. In addition CSP-MERCURY helps the handling airline in monitoring and maintaining the service level agreements with the handled airlines.

Complete New Generation Cargo Revenue Accounting Solution
CSP-AMBER® is a complete solution to an airline's cargo revenue accounting needs. It includes functionalities of deal management, air waybill validation, proration, SPA and proviso control, billing and invoicing. CSP-AMBER® has the ability to interface to standard industry systems such as IDEC, CASS, etc. In addition, it has a sophisticated Management Information tool that allows for the production of many types of reports related to revenue and performance at multiple levels.
