Kale is a complete cargo reservation and space control management
solution. It provides the reservations, pricing, allotments
and space control functions required by a cargo airline.
CSP-RES® enables
an airline’s sales staff to record bookings and understand
the revenue to be earned from a single booking. It also provides
multiple features to the airline’s space control staff
to allocate capacity for sale, monitor take-up, and optimise
the final flight list taking into account yield, load factor
and priorities for uplift.
CSP-RES® is
offered as a standalone module, or alternatively integrated

Flight
Management
Manages
both schedules and individual (adhoc) flights.
These can either be created on-line, downloaded
from a corporate database or can be automatically
created through EDI (SSIM).
Allows the user to define
capacity, payload, and allotments for the timetable
after schedule creation and this information can
then be used as a template for individual flight
creation.
Allows complete tracking
of flights. In addition, it supports the update
of flight status by use of EDI MVT message.
Allotment
Management
Provides
tools to manage both seasonal allotment planning
(allowing different allotments by day of week),
as well as individual flight allotment control.
Loadable capacity can
be increased to account for no shows and other
overbooking allowances to give a capacity limit
for sale and to facilitate allotments.
Allotments can be issued
based on ULDs or physical weight and can be distributed
by Sector, Region, Sales Branch, Agent, Product
etc.
Space Control staff
can track allotment take-up & make real-time
adjustments in order to maximize flight load &
yield. The automatic release of allotments is
configurable.
Reservation
Management
Allows
bookings to be made in several ways including
manual entry, electronic requests by other airlines,
internet etc. Produces a Flight Booking List which
can be printed, sent by EDI or automatically faxed
/ emailed to the ground handler.
AWB Stock Control including
stock distribution to outstations/ agents, blacklisting,
management of stock levels and the tracking of
stock movements and status.
Reservation tool allows
agents/ customers to make reservations and book
space into allotments. It includes AWB stock checks,
automatic calculation of volume and chargeable
weight, capture of Special Handling Codes and
DG information, third party bookings and automatic
rating and proration.
Fully manages Splits.
Flight booking list
provides a great deal of information about each
booked shipment (including connecting flights),
as well as the expected flight revenue and profit.
Booking and loading
priorities based on three categories, i.e. Must
Board, Offload, and Standby.
