	ULD Reference Information
	The provision of basic reference data, both generic (countries/cities/airports, ULD Types etc.) and airline specific (ULD Number, Supplier, Tare Weight, Locations etc.) is the foundation that enables CSP-ULD® to manage the movement around the airline network and beyond (e.g. third party loans, repair shops, etc.).
	Stock Control
	Stock Control assists an airline in managing its entire stock of ULDs within its network through awareness of ULD volumes and locations of individual units. This is achieved by: Setting of optimal stock levels for each station. Automatic checking of stock levels after ULD movements. Display of check levels with emphasis given to locations where stocks are low. Supporting the ability to perform manual stock checks (ULD quantities) against the figures held in the database. Identifies and flags irregularities in ULD stocks.
	Tracking
	CSP-ULD® tracks the full history of ULDs from purchase to disposal. By utilising data from the airline’s operational system, CSP-ULD® can track the movements of all ULDs known to the system, capturing events such as; Build-up of a ULD. Assignment of a ULD to a flight. Departure of ULDs from an airport. Arrival of ULDs at an airport. Break down of a ULD. Transfer and Receipt of ULDs. CSP-ULD® allows users to check the status and location of any ULD at the touch of a button, and flags any illogical sequences in the ULD tracing process.
	Electronic Data Interface (EDI) Messaging
	CSP-ULD® has the capabilities to send and receive IATA Standard Messages such as; ULD Control – UCM (In and Out). ULD Stock Check – SCM. ULD Exchange Control – LUC. Multilateral ULD Control – MUC. These messages ensure that CSP-ULD® not only assists the airline in monitoring its own stock, but also enables it to return other carriers’ ULDs as soon as possible to reduce demurrage charges.
