Kale acquires Cognosys; Accelerates its expansion in the Travel industry
- Kale Consultants Ltd. (Kale), a leading provider of enterprise application product solutions and outsourced services for the Airline industry, today announced the strategic acquisition of Cognosys, a software solutions provider to the Travel industry.
Cognosys is a travel technology company, with leading edge products such as - eBizTravel (an end-to-end e-procurement solution for business travel), eBookEngine (Internet booking engine), eFlightInfo (Automatic Real-time dissemination of operational flight information) and eFareEngine (Fare Data Management). The company also provides customized software solutions, leveraging their deep domain knowledge of the Travel Industry. Cognosys' customers include leading travel organizations in Europe, USA and India such as BCD Travel, Lastminute.com, Cox & Kings, TCube, Secure-res and others.
This acquisition is a perfect fit with Kale's strategy to be a leading global solution provider to the Travel industry. Having achieved a leadership position in the Airline vertical, this acquisition positions Kale to capitalize the large Travel space. Currently, Kale is the only Indian product company in the Airline space providing innovative products and services to 35 customers in 30 countries.
